1994: Born in London, Ontario and was raised in Stratford, Ontario.

July 2009: Released his first single, "One Time" to radio. The song was certified platinum in Canada and the US and gold in Australia and New Zealand.

November 2009: Released an extended play titled My World. Also released the album's second single, "One Less Lonely Girl", and two promotional singles, "Love Me" and "Favorite Girl" exclusively on the iTunes Store. My World was eventually certified platinum in the US and double platinum in both Canada and the United Kingdom.

January 2010: Released "Baby" featuring Ludacris from his debut album My World 2.0 and became an international hit.
