1995: Born in Syracuse, New York.

2013: Malone, Probst, and several other producers and artists formed the music group BLCKVRD and recorded music together.

February 2015: Released and uploaded the song "White Iverson" to his SoundCloud account. 

July 2015: Released music video of "White Iverson".

Trivia:

  • He started playing guitar in 2009 because of Guitar Hero. He taught himself through YouTube videos. He was in a high school hardcore band and began recording his own mixtape when he was 16.
  • Got his stage name, Post Malone, from a rap name generator online.
  • He said he loves it when people claim that he bears a resemblance to actor Shia LaBeouf.
